My Weaver PRR K4 is missing a brass part on top of the boiler in front of the cab. The missing part goes in the whitish hole near the center of the picture and looks just like the taller brass part shown in the center. Any help is finding one would be greatly appreciated.

That part is a pop valve. Precision Scale has PRR style valves in a package of two, part #40866. You'll probably need to replace the existing Weaver valve, unless the appearance is close enough for you.

Just today I had my first contact with them when inquiring about a mail hook bag for an RPO car I'm making. The part was named, but w/o p/n, in their catalog index, but was not on the catalog page specified. The helpful lady, Teresa, took my name and phone no. for a call back after she confirmed the part I needed while she researched the part.
She called me back in less than 10 minutes with the part in hand to answer the few questions I had. She invoiced me via PayPal; I paid; and, my mail bag hooks are on the way to me.

Thank you! Took a while to find it in the catalog (page was wrong), but it looks like what I need. Boy do they have a lot of stuff. I'll give Teresa a call.
