Im going to Texas and wonder if there are any large train shows and when they might be held. Thank you in advance

look at this link for DFW area shows.
My recollection is that there is a large one in Plano in January, but I haven't been there in years.
Check the TCA (Train Collectors Association) web site for local chapter meetings near Dallas. These shows will not be as big as the GATS type or other big shows but I have had better luck finding trains and train gear for better prices at big shows which charge dealers way more for tables.
