I'm trying to identify the parts packet that came in the 1957 Canadian Pacific F3 set (2296).  The Greenberg book on sets says it's the 39-5, but the photo of the set shows the contents of the 39-20.   The Doyle book also says 39-5 but does not include parts or a parts packet in its photo.

If you have information about this or know someone who does, please let me know.  Thank you

Chris: While I don't have the exact contents of each parts packet that came with sets, they typically would include two coiled green wires for the transformer-to-track lockon, and a UTC lockon.

When Super "O" track was introduced in 1957, they likely also had the center rail copper connector clips in the packet along with the Super"O" individual rail lockons.

Hope that helps.....
