Looking for Knuckleheads to Ride in MTH County Sheriff's Bus

I picked up one of the MTH County Sheriff's buses a few months ago when Sylvia pointed at it in the store and said, "You need that on the layout."  http://mthtrains.com/30-50065 

 

Since I followed that advice, it's sitting in my train room, but empty of riders.  The "sitting" BEEP people look too large to fit into the bus which I believe is in the 1:50 scale.

 

So now I'm looking for some knuckleheads to ride in the sheriff's bus after I dip them in some orange glow paint.  

 

All kidding aside, what brand/source of seated figures are you using to fill the seats on your MTH buses?    I used some unknown brand I found at a train meet to populate my Corgi Greyhound buses, but I'm all out of those characters.

Having had similar Corgi-like buses than I have put people in, S-scale people of the sub-scale folks that came in Railking unpainted bags of seated figures, etc., are probably best.  

But another thought comes to mind.  If you have a place to park it in front of a sheriff's office or so, you could buy some cops/deputies and some of the prison-garb guys like this Model Power set and line them up coming off the bus doing a "perp-walk."  You could have a lot of fun that way . . .
