I remember a magazine story, maybe 10 years ago, about the High Line on Manhattan's west side.  I think it was in Trains Magazine, but I cannot find it looking on their website.  Does this ring any bells with anyone?  It had a bunch of black and white photos, and the story reported the High Line's history.  Thanks for any help.

There have been a number of stories on the high line, its history, decay, and rebirth.  10 years is a big window especially without a specific magazine masthead to research.

This is an excellent book on the redevelopment with some historical background:

Nice photo essay on the abandoned property:

This is out of print but you can still find used copies, good resource on the line when it was operational:

Lou, thank you.  I don't see a High Line story in that issue, but your suggestion made me  realize I might have the wrong publication. Unfortunately, I don't see any High Line story in any of the indexes or back issue covers.  As I recall it was a cover story. Any other mag ideas?

Dennis, i did a thorough search on the Trains website, and I doubt a call will get me far, but that may be my best option.  Thank you
