I have a PS2 3V Premier S1, and it's beautiful. Was one of the engineering samples from the auction that I finished off into a working loco.

I had to steal a 3V PS2 board from another new loco that I also won, but it was a RK diesel. Everything works, but obviously the sound file needs to be corrected so I can get all the beautiful chuffing.

So I'm hoping I can find someone in Cincy that has a programming track and is experienced doing sound file uploads. I've already got the correct .MTH files from the MTH website, but I don't have a TIU (everything I have is conventional).

I'd bring the loco over, and I'll bring some brews to share and we can run trains.

I'd compensate for your time (reasonable).

Thanks!

Wish you lived closer to me!

Anyways, you could consider sending just the board set to a tech for the install if you can't find someone near you to do it.

I got a board set before, from Ray's electric train works and he put the correct sound set into it for me. He doesn't always do it as he's busy now.

That's what gave me the idea that you could send just the board out for the sounds load.

There must be a dealer/service center near you to go to?

@Engineer-Joe: yeah, it seems like you and I are working on parallel projects that are pretty similar. I guess I could send the board out (I already got a price from a forum member a while back) but I was hoping to find someone local. That way I can see how it's done if I ever go to DCS running, plus I get to see someone else's trains!

@Tom Densel: thanks for the suggestion, I'll look them up. I don't know any of the local shops. Mason is a pretty good trip for me (I'm actually in northern KY) but might be worth it.
