Hello everyone. I have recently gotten into the Chesapeake and Ohio railroad specifically for its steam power. The locomotive designs are still quite interesting, with low mounted headlights and oval number plates. It is very rare to find any footage or audio of their signature steam locomotives (Greenbriers, Kanawhas, Alleghenies, etc.), whatever I search gives me few results if any. So I thought I'd reach out and ask if anyone here has or can recommend an LP with vintage C&O audio, or a DVD/VHS with C&O footage. Thanks everybody!

You might research the Herron Rail Video company, as I'm pretty sure he has more than one Video/DVD of C&O steam power.
Articulateds in Appalachia by Sunday River Productions is a great one for the C&O.. Has a lot of Allegheny footage.
Do a YOUTUBE search for 4-8-4 614 (a C&O Greenbriar). Tapes with a lot of whistling and sharp stack talk. See Hoboken to Port Jervis, particularly.
Unfortunately there's not a lot of high quality C&O videos out there. The Herron Video mentioned above is good. Here's a snippet:

Some DVD's:
B&O/C&O Steam Power, Herron Rail Video (this is mostly B&O)
Chesapeake and Ohio Steam Locos Third Edition, JMJ Productions
Vignettes of the Chesapeake and Ohio, Clear Block Productions
Reflections of the C&O, Volume 1, Herron Rail Video (some steam, mostly diesel)
Some of these may be available from the Chesapeake and Ohio Historical Society.

This may not be exactly what you're looking for....but there should be a lot footage out there from the early to mid 1980s of the 614/614T and Ross Rowland's projects.
Almost everything from time that experiment will be in color and if you're lucky, you may find some good audio.
It's likely a Quantity over Quality situation, but there should plenty to dig through.
As a side note, how has over 30 years gone by since then?
Thank you all for the responses! Lots of great suggestions! I'm also looking for more videotape footage of 614 in the '80s as opposed to film. The framerate is choppier with film so it'd be nice to see smoother action of the engine during her early experiments. Specifically the New River Train.
