My question is, If I have two loops of 3 rail track, Inner and outer loops and they are connected together with 2 switches so I can get the train from inner to outer loop. I'm using 1 channel from the TIU for the outer loop and a second channel for the inner loop. Should the crossover switches be isolated at just the center rail or all three rails?  Each TIU channel is powered by a separate z1000 brick.

Thanks Chris

I am set up exactly like Chris is. The only difference is I have two TIU's for four mainlines and all are isolated from the other through the center rail. I ran a test for signal strength and got 10's on three of the mains but the fourth I am having trouble with. But my question goes back to the first two mainlines. If I have a DCS engine on the outer main I should be able to run that engine onto the second mainline with the same hand held and to take it one step further can I run that engine to and onto the other mains without problems..............Paul
