No, I'm being dead serious. This is a simple fix. The T bar and the coupler have become turned such the T bar is not putting tension holding the coupler. Try pressing up on the spring and T bar while wiggling the coupler left to right.

Again, this is a simple fix- doesn't even require taking anything apart.

Says it all.
