I am having challenges with finding 1930s era cars on that big auction site; the search filters enable scale and manufacturer, yet not era correlated to scale, at least not that I've been able to figure out. The same with Diecast Direct. I know of Rextoy, RIO, Oxford Diecast, and Brooklin. Since it seems that most diecast manufacturers produce in 1:43 scale and not 1:48 scale, the majority of my older diecast cars are 1:43 scale.

Does anyone have a lead into a maker of 1930s era vehicles? BTW: while Brooklin appears the big producer of cars, is it my need for new eyeglasses or do their vehicles seem to lack the detail that the price suggests? Don't take this as criticism; without seeing them in person I only have web pictures to go by, and so my initial impression may be wrong.
