Runnning Legacy Cab2 system, the Super Bass B-unit in my Santa Fe ABBA consist lost its sound control commands. The "prime mover" revs up to maximum rpm when powered up, no bell or horn. This behavior started suddenly; the unit worked and sounded great since out of its box. I have attempted to re-program the unit, but no luck. Anybody else have this issue...recommendations?

Forget which button, but try turning volume up on the engine. G

Interesting. I had this same issue with my Powered A unit. I opened it up and reseated the connections and all has been fine since. It's like the RS are seeing track voltage rather than the input from the CAB2. It did seem to respond to movement commands though.
I'm keeping a close eye on mine for further incidences.
It's no longer seeing the TMCC signal, I'd try what Marty suggests as that's usually my first step.
Any update on this?
Thanks for the advice...Marty was right, loose connector to one of the circuit boards. All good!
And this is why I like this forum, you guys rock !!!
Thanks for the update. It's always helpful to reply if the suggestion worked. We all learn from it!
Happy Railroading.
