I received notice this morning that my 50th anniversary LRRC Mercury Capsule Launch car has shipped, with a tracking number. I am looking forward to receiving this car.

I received my LRRC Mercury Capsule Launch car yesterday.
IMHO, it is a very nicely done car, with small, not objectionable LRRC markings on the side of the flatcar.
It has metal trucks (not sprung) as advertised.
The only odd thing is that the instruction sheet tells the owner not to store the car with the launch mechanism cocked. But it came that way, and I doubt it will fit into the box with the mechanism released.
I am very happy with my purchase.

I like the new diecast AAR trucks. They look good and when assembled with good QC they are durable. Plus they are more authentic to Lionel than the sprung trucks.
