How about post some of your 'lucky shots' of unusual or seemingly difficult photos to get. It's Ok to 'stage' your photo if you want, but try to post truly lucky shots you caught quite by accident.

This one I didn't even notice the first time I viewed it as I was just looking at the overall composition and hoping the A Class wasn't blurred as it was rolling at a pretty decent clip. Am very happy to have caught the number 1218 almost squarely in the frame of the crossing gate and the locomotive cab!

This is the road across the back of our city scene all of the way in the back of an earlier iteration of our layout. I don't even remember taking this photo. Because it is difficult to access by a human being, I also don't know how I got back there to take it. I do like the photo.

I took this in 2021 I think, I was just trying to get the locomotive but was lucky enough to capture the clouds in the sky as well.

Don

That's a really nice shot Don. I just took a cropped screen shot of it with my iPhone 13 and hit the 'shadow' slider all the way up to boost the dark areas and bring out the color in the shadows. LOTs of potential here!  These phone cameras are amazing...
