I do not believe so. We had a nice trip this morning. While I was not on crew, based on overhearing radio chatter, the brakes on the caboose were causing some grief bringing us to a stop two or three times. As a result, we ran to State Farm and headed back.

I believe that LV Coal was part of the LVRR or it's predecessor/parent Lehigh Coal and Navigation that was owned by Asa Packer and managed in nearby Jim Thorpe (Mauch Chunk), PA.

Some reference, but possibly not completely accurate:

I can't confirm the above engine's working heritage, but Lehigh Valley Coal/RR owned/operated the Hazleton (PA) Shaft Colliery.  Although the original Hazleton Shaft coal breaker and its deep mine operation, as well as the many other nearby breakers are long gone, There still might be coal taken from the same spot but now via drag-line (strip) mining.

Hazleton, PA was primarily a LVRR line stop, but also had a small PRR branch line.
