I don't usually like to brag, but I'm going to for a moment.

Over the past few days The Madison Hardware Story has been consistently ranking in the top 1% of the books offered on Amazon.com. This morning we were ranked at 90,900. I'm sure most of you are rolling your eyes, but it's pretty darn impressive when you realize that Amazon is currently offering over 32 MILLION new books. Our little book is selling better than 99% of the other books on Amazon.

The sales numbers reflect that as we are over 2/3rd of the way sold out on this first and possibly only print run. Less than 350 copies remain. We have a few big marketing pushes coming out in the next few weeks, including a great review from Allan Miller in the January issue of OGR and another write up coming in The Lion Roars in December. I fully expect these efforts to push us near the brink of sell out.

Thank you to EVERYONE who has supported the book and left nice comments. It's nice to know that the work is appreciated. If you'd like to order your copy of the book, click the link below.

I had a feeling this was going to be a good book and I figured it wouldn't have numbers of a Harry Potter novel so I am really glad I got my copy at York. Once in a while in this hobby you have to jump on something because it ain't going to be around forever. I advise anyone who is on the fence about getting this book to get a copy before it is too late.

If you want to buy this book at Amazon, please use the Amazon Smile site instead of the regular Amazon site.  All your regular discounts, Prime, coupons, account ID, etc. will work, but if you purchase through the Amazon Smile site and select "Train Collectors Association" as the charity, a small percentage of every purchase goes to the TCA.

You won't pay any more, it doesn't cost the seller anything, the donation comes from Amazon.  You can go to the Amazon Smile site at:

https://smile.amazon.com/

and search for:  Train Collectors Association

TCA Website Instructions

It's not just for TCA members.

PS:  I've left a book review for Derek at the Amazon site.  It should show up after it makes it way through the Amazon review process.

Derek,

I just finished your book and found it to be very informative, highly entertaining and at times extremely humorous.  Any person who is the least bit interested in the association and history of both Lionel and Madison Hardware will absolutely love your book.  This publication in my opinion is an absolute "MUST HAVE".
