Well,  It's nice that the NKP 765 group has something concrete.  I read that thread and Hot Water's reply made me look at the 4449 webpage.  If they are able to make something like another Columbia River Gorge run to Bend in that quick or a turn around,  chasers could possibly get 765, 4449, AND UP 844 in one summer.  I am Biased to the Pacific Northwest, since that is where I grew up, but the opportunity to catch two 4-8-4's (possibly three since 4449 is not locked in) is a pretty good opportunity for anyone.  Who is gonna chase, ride, or even run with these beautiful machines?

No more two day trips from Portland to Bend, OR. That portion of the railroad has simply gotten WAY TOO busy.

Are you including Milwaukee Road #261?

Well chasing and riding is fine but, I sure don't know ANYONE who could "run with these beautiful machines"!
