Now that my new Lionel Empire State Express Hudson can run, at least in Command mode, I'm really having fun with it. 
I knew I was going to run this side by side with my Vision 700E, but this little fun thing popped in my head.
This may be close to what those who ordered the actual Mercury version of the new J3A, but I notice how closely the tender is to the engine this way! Not only that, but the whistle in the 700E tender is better to me than the one on the actual ESE's, but that's just me.
