Larry@www.all-aboard-trains.com,asked to have you gentlemen compile your most wanted items as far as switchstands 1st & other track related projects, that you'd like to see developed in the near future,in the order of most important first.

Go to Larry's Website & see what he's coming out with soon. His model of a ground throw switchstand in both a WORKING prototypical manual model,as well as a motorized version, have sparked my interest,as this model is using gearing like the prototype groundthrows. This will rotate a lighted lamp on top of the stand as well as move the switch points with a working  manual throw handle, just like the prototype, on the manual model.

I mentioned to Larry that the New Century 'stands should be a great selling item according to the response on this site in favor of them, earlier. I agree on that. He's working off original prints of some of those models as I speak. CSX installed those years back on the mainline through Bremen,IN and shortly after their installation, replaced the throw arm with the "backsafer" bow handles.

On my list, those would be my favorite,"1st choice" models. 1st the New Century "low" 'stands with day targets, followed by the same type of 'stand with the bow handles. I also mentioned a 2way sliding derail as well as a Railroad Products groundthrow & a Powerlock groundthrow. The later are only used on crossovers as well as Mainline to siding turnouts in the 1965-2016 eras on some railroads,so they won't be overly popular.Railroad Products are out of business,so that's another less popular selling 'stand, though they were used VERY HEAVILY on the B&O Mainline through Bremen & were common all along B&O tracks for many years.

Here's a great opportunity to get switchstands of your choice gentlemen,so let Larry know of your desires.

Thank you all in advance.
