don't know exactly what forum this should go in, but since it has to do with 2 rail models, here goes.

Making plans now, hotels reserved, will check in Friday night.  I went in 2022 and almost within walking distance of the hotel was  pub and restaurant, good beers, great food.  I don't remember the name and can't seem to find it on the web.  Any help from the local people to the area?

Also, who's going?  2022 had at least a couple dozen forum members in attendance.  Just Curious

It's a great show.  I'm a 3 railer.  I went in 2023 and I loved it.  I'd recommend anyone who enjoys scale models attend the March Meet.  I even got a great deal on some Woodland Scenics buildings.  The Westin Chicago Lombard is a nice suburban hotel with ample free parking.  It's surrounded by restaurants and bars.  I'm beginning to rethink my decision this year...

The hotel has Harry Carry’s plus an upscale, Italian restaurant, right across the Lobby from exhibition room plus there is a McDonald’s across the parking lot maybe a block over and other restaurants.  I think Harry carries is very reasonably priced, and they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a target right across the parking lot from the exhibition Center.  besides Desplaines hobbies, on the way to and from the airport, I don’t leave the hotel.
