March O Scale Meet Chicago Update
With this years display layouts provided by the Detroit Model Railroad Club and Joe Norman, we'll have 351 tables spread throughout the ballroom and foyer. 269 are accounted for, which leaves 82 still available. If we sell out of tables this year and experience return to normal attendance, there will not be any price increases for 2024. So, please don't delay, get your table registrations in. "IF" there are any price increases, those who pay at the 2023 meet current rates will be available.
We still have hotel rooms available through Feb 22. We have had discussion with the hotel regarding a cut off extension. While they seem to suggest they would consider it, they are not yet committed.
Model Contest forms are now available on our website. We hope to have as much participation as we did last year. If we don't, it could be on the chopping block again, so do not hesitate to bring a model. If nothing else, use this as a push to get that model on your workbench done!
We update our website periodically. Please visit often. There have been some updates on the Hotel and Travel page. A lot of the previous information was out of date. We still need to update the By Airplane information. Some of the cab related information has changed and needs to be updated. If you fly in, please look for the next update. Last update to this page was February 6.
Ted Schnepf still has openings for his operating session Thursday before the meet. No experience needed. He's equipped for a lot of first time operators, so don't hesitate to sign up. Contact him directly to mark up: railsunlimited@gmail.com
While the March Meet is only a month away, equally important is the Harrisburg Meet in April and the O Scale National Convention in Denver in June. Please consider attending all.
