Marker light red LED'S

They're no longer produced, so unless you find an overseas source for them, you're out of luck.

What are you lighting the markers on?  Be specific as to what we're dealing with.

You can see them at their web site.  Mounting might be tricky.

They have 1.8mm, 1.6 and Z size. You can choose prewired for different voltages.

They aren’t class lights. I assume they were used when running in reverse.

You can still get 2mm red LEDs from MTH and Lionel.

Many modelers  refer to class lights as marker lites, even some suppliers .  parts catalogs refer to them in this way.  No offense intended to someone whose career was railroading. I have just been referring to them in this way for probably 40 years.

FYI, to help you ask for the correct parts,…..marker lights MARK the end of a train. ie; the end of the train being red MARKERS, ……class lights tell the job the train is doing, usually green, clear ( white ) or off ….depending if the train is regularly scheduled, or an extra….easiest way to remember, class lights on the front, markers on the rear ( in most cases) …..hope that helps

Yeah, the Pennsy was the oddity ….some of their engines had markers on the front, these were red, like the picture you posted buddy, obviously these would only be illuminated if the engine was running in reverse, and was on the end of a train, or running light in reverse….

Tomar Industries had small (very small) LED's, that could be insert inside an existing light fixture.  Center of picture, attached to the red and blue wires.  Power supply also pictured, right.

Designed as illumination for their Adlake marker lights.

It's been awhile, there is still a website available.
