I use the smaller bulb, I have 3 of those towers, they all work great with the smaller bulb. I’m always worried the big bulb would start to melt the plastic base. Trick is to get the bulb centered right on the base of the bubble tube, this lets the light go up the tube really nicely, and I get quick bubble action.....hope that helps.....Pat
I can’t remeber what’s in an O22 switch to save my soul.....my Napa auto parts store keeps 1449 bulbs in stock cheap, they are screw base, 14V small globe.......I think that’s a GE part number.....don’t hold me to that.......I just know them as 1449..............Pat
