It just unscrews. Turn it to the left (counterclockwise) while holding the wheels still. It might take quite a bit of effort to break it loose, sometimes they need heat on the brass hub to get it removed.
Does anyone know where I can get wheels for this engine? It is working, and reversable, so it seems worthwhile to replace the wheels rather then the whole engine.
