Marx motors and engines.

 I've swapped a motor in one of my 999's to be able to run thru Lionel switches,not to hard at all

Steve, I didn't expect an response this quickly.  I really appreciate the offer and would like to take advantage as soon as I get my stuff delivered from California.  Escrow closes on our new home in Arizona in a month and we'll get or belongings shipped up as soon as possible after that.  I'd be grateful if you'd hold the offer open until then.

I finally, after about 60 years, have a place big enough... 24' x 32'... to put together the layout I dreamed of as a kid.  I'll probably be begging suggestions and info to do the planning, wiring, track plans, etc as time goes on.

I'll be taking my time and have a mostly Marx 027 toy train layout with three or four 999s. a couple of Mercuries, and maybe one larger steam engine and a A-A diesel.

At my age I'll never finish it, but I'll have a ball trying.

No problem Tom. I'll use one of my 999's to get the proper alignment, cross member etc done ahead of time and make sure it's a good motor.

I'm as excited about the layout as I am about getting a new house.  Like Christmas Eve when I was a kid.

My wife says I can get a new dog, too.  It's been two years since our last one passed.

A Gilbert chemistry set would make it a triple header.
