Marx Single Spotlight Tower ?

I have two Marx single spotlight towers they both have real glass lens, one has a thick magnifying lens(nice) The other came with a dome shaped glass lens and works fine.

My question is are they both Marx issue?

Here are some photos, I hope you can see the difference.

every example of this light i have (came as a searchlight car, also) has the very thick lens. convex face and nearly flat back. of course, if i don't someone else will probably say you cannot rule out anything with Marx.
