Just put some GoPro footage from the last days it ran Aug. 1, 2014. We had GoPro HD cameras all over the engine plus we shot over 20 hours of HD video, Interviews with crew, passengers and the original owner. When we find out what will happen we will make all the footage into an hour film. Enjoy Don

Really great video, thanks for sharing.
Have a great day,

Great video, brought back a lot of great memories. Hope you all have a Merry Christmas.
Thanks Roger and Thomas, I think I pushed the video system on the forum a little to much. Wish you could see how it really looks. Dave the engineer that entire week we filmed passed away three weeks ago. He was a hard worker and could take those engines apart and put them back together. There is a Black Wreath on the Christmas Train with his name on it. Don

What happened to "Dave"? He sounds like he had skills we don't want to lose. Glad l got to ride it, and hope it can be preaerved so thousands more can follow.
Don't know what happened to him. I saw him in town a couple months ago and as always he was riding his Harley. He looked fine. Don
Met with Craig the owner of the Railroad. He has put almost 2 million into the railroad. Has the money to rebuild everything but can't get the owners of just lease a very short section of land. That would give him the right of way all the way to Lahaina again. He hired me to do a video about the loss of another historical thing we will loose on Maui if the RR goes. No sugar cane, no mills, no big sailing ships that at one time were docked her. They never took care of them and sunk them. The mill towns are gone. We are also working on getting Craig on radio and TV to try and get across to folks how important it is for visitors. I have driven up our hill to see people standing at the station waiting for a train that hasten't run almost a year. He can't make any money running it for three weeks at Christmas. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Vicky, my wife knows how to promote, she was promotion director a ABC in San Francisco. So she's also on board. Don
