max transformer power rating?

How about telling us the brand name and model number?

 

12 amps X 25 volts = 300 watts. I seriously doubt that both outputs will deliver 300 watts each simultaneously.

There is no model number and was actually built by Mainline  Industries in cincinnati,ohio.

As to 300 watts each track not sure. but I have run 4 post war trains on each throttle and only drew 3 amps. at the time had 4 blocks setup on relays talk about a show!! no lighted passenger cars but steamers with puffer smoke units.
when I talked to the actual builder of it he said he used industrial components cannot prove or disprove but he told me I could run anything I cared to.  wow rated at 300 watts

Will assume the 300 watts is max rating for each separate throttle. Thanks for the info have it written down on paperwork I received with it. back then it cost 800.00 plus 63.00 shipping that was a lot of $$ then! makes the latest lionel zw seem a tad cheaper.

St Paul, you are correct. It is rated at 600 watts total. There is a review of it in one of the older train magazines.

I can tell you now I know why no UL approval in 1997.
