Looking at the latest Atlas catalog, the second run of Maxi-Stack IV well cars (except for the yellow TTX) have "Non-Interchange Car/See Equipment Register" on the B car. Yet the cars are often photographed on foreign roads.
This leads me to a couple questions - does run-through operation not count as interchange? Are there routes with clearance sufficient for the cars/containers that are approved exceptions to "non-interchange"?
No access to equipment register, and any explanation it might contain. Thanks in advance for any input.
