Anyone ever make a model of the Mckee self powered car. Just saw something on the travel channel. It was restored and is in the Nevada Transportation Museum.

"McKeen" car. Yes, Use search it has been discussed here in the last month or so. Another member Madison Kirkman had a thread regarding aerodynamics and the McKeen Motorcar I think mention/photo of it was there. Madison has been given one from Alaska to restore(full size prototype).
As for anyone making a model, a model has been made in Standard Gauge, several
have been made in O gauge TWO rail, at least a couple and probably more in HO
(surprised nobody has done a plastic one in HO?...somebody is asleep at the switcfh),
and MTH displayed an O gauge three rail one at York once, and offered it, but apparently the buyers were asleep at the switch and not enough were reserved, so it was cancelled.

Since the spelling in the title lives on, I couldn't resist:
Here is a set of McKee self powered cars.
"In the 1960s, company founders O.D. and Ruth McKee decided to name a product after one of their grandchildren, four-year-old Debbie."
That would be Precision Scale which made them in O with the various trailers and in a couple of paint schemes....
I think that is a Papa Eastman McKeen, photo posted by Madison Kirkman? A
look at that is why I have, so far, chickened out of trying to scratchbuild my own.
I have trouble getting useable power trucks for plain Jane gas electrics and other
assorted critters, much less the exotic front drive on a McKeen.

I've seen an ho Overland Model Inc. brass. Same piece?
