I own models of all six class one railroads, and others; with the Canadian Pacific Railway holding the top spot, re: the number of locomotives, I own:

GP9's, Train Master(Railking) C630, MP15DC, SD40, AC4400CW's, SD9043MAC and ES44AC(all 3-rail).

I recently ordered a new scale wheels 3.0 H24-66 Train Master; it should be arriving, at my dealers, sometime this week; and, if everything checks out okay... it will be shipped to me, soon.

I look forward to every new purchase; but, this new unit... it should be something special. I like seeing 6 sets of powered wheels on the rails, too.

Hey Rick, you should drop by our local train museum if you're ever in Montreal, Quebec... http://www.exporail.org/en/

They have a CP Train Master on display:

Locomotive CPR 8905

Canadian Pacific "Trainmaster" 8905 was the first high-horse-power diesel built in Canada.  It is the only locomotive of this type left in the world.

...and some other cool stuff as well.

Those are bathtub gondolas that come from a large metal recycling company   They are located in Jersey City where the Lehigh Valley and Pennsylvania railroads had their yards in Greenville.  Most of the World Trade Center metal went through there when they were destroyed

Hi Ben,

Notice the color of the CP units, in the pictures you posted, it looks sort of orange, to me. Even the "action" red, used in the more recent livery, seems to vary... at times, it appears brighter.

I liked the old burgundy and grey scheme, too. In the early 70's, CP's force in motion symbol was seen everywhere... on, both, locomotives and rolling stock. At the time, I wasn't big on that paint scheme; but, I wouldn't mind having one of my units wearing it, nowadays.

I found it interesting that Lionel chose the Canadian Pacific livery, the first class one railroad livery picked, for it's, then new, Vision Line GEVO.

Hi Rick

"force in motion symbol" ..... is that the "Multimark" logo? I was never a fan of it, either. I disliked the entire "CP Rail"/Multimark scheme, and own no equipment with it.

The old burgundy and grey scheme really is classic. Especially with "Canadian Pacific" written in script. There's a Williams FM TM on ebay now ... I'm thinking of bidding on it, just to have it sitting on my layout.

Todays simple, but bold, action red livery is my favorite railroad scheme .... especially with very bright red paint.  I wish Lionel would produce some standard Legacy GE units with it.

I would really like CP putting the old beaver on the nose of these modern units. The logo all in white, maybe?

Post pics , please ... she ought to be a beauty !!

I "stole" the Trainweb link and posted it on my FMfacebook page ... thanks for sharing !!
