Medina,OH Model Railroad & Toy Show

Im sure this isn't posted in the correct category but its the one I spend most of my time in. There is Medina train show this Sunday at 10:00a.m. Im sure most of you in the area have been to it in the past. Im always impressed with the amount of vendors that set up just for one day. I am also a gun dealer and setting up for two day shows is bad enough so I like to go there to support the dealers for their efforts.

I would say 50% is HO and N scale but a great deal of the rest is O GA. I always find lots of cool stuff and usually walk out with a few shopping bags.

Wonder why this is brilliantly timed to be the same day as the large Springfield, Ohio

show?  And there is a show the Saturday before.  A lot of weekends have zip going on, and then they all do them the same day?  (not the first time that has happened...there were three going on the same day in a circle around Cleveland some years ago) At least within the same state train show promoters could coordinate with each other.  Most are smart enough, in Ill, and in neighboring states even, to not schedule a show on Wheaton Sunday.  Buyers and sellers lose....when customers (have to) go somewhere closer, and buyers miss possible opportunities, sellers fewer sales, AND promoters get less foot traffic.  DUH!

Yes, there is the facility scheduling/availability problem.

Where else was this advertised...in any of the train hobby magazines?  Flyers out there?
