"Men of the Footplate" 1939 (a must see film)

Very informative.

Loved watching it, it is amazing how earnest they were with films like these. The young men in the waiting room looked like they weren't above 14, I guess that is what happen when you get to be older, they all look like babies *lol*. 

Of course there is a part of me after so many years of enjoying Mystery Science 3000, where there was a part of me watching this and creating my own snarky comments, like the part of the film where the guy is sitting at his desk smoking and having thoughts like "Of course, son, you should pick up the manly habit of smoking, it will further your career" *lol*.
