I've been happy with the Menard's items I have. I like to add in additional lighted O gauge trucks and have devised a way to use the existing
power sources without having to purchase additional 4.5 volt power sources or connector/wiring kits:
For example, with the pick ups, stake body trucks or similar items, I cut off the female connector attached to the wire under the vehicle, and solder on my own extension wires. After finding a similar already installed item, I cut the wire to the required length, and tie into the wires that already power that similar device, always being careful not to exceed the maximum allowed by the power source. All works fine.
