I just purchased the Morton Salt bldg. I am powering the lights with a 4.5 v dc, 600ma wall-wart. When I have the switch set so all lights and signs stay on, everything works fine.

When I set the switch so the signs go off and on and the salt looks like it pours is when I notice some flicker. When the signs are on, all the lights seem normal, but when the signs cycle off for a few seconds, the remaining lights have a slight flicker until the sign lights up again.  Wondering if this is normal operation or if I should return and exchange for another one (if they have one in stock).

Hi Ken,

It's more than likely the transformer you're using. In almost all cases when the lights flicker, the power source is inadequate.

We recommend using the 2,000 mA adapters that we offer. We stock these online (SKU# 279-4062) as well as in our stores (SKU# 279-4362) - they are the same adapter, but the latter has retail packaging.

I hope this helps!
