That looks great...I love it. My grandfather did 30 years with CPD and enjoyed them all.....great work.
Nice Job !!!!!!
Thanks Chris and Bob. This was a fun project that I will be using on the Midwest TCA modular layout.
Kevin, That is some real nice work!!! Did you buy the CPD decal set or make those yourself?
I bought several of the CFD ambulances and may attempt to copy your fine example with one of them. By the way, I'm waiting to get my CPD Ford Explorer back with all of the lights put in it which would look great with one of those wagons.
How did you do the decals? I have been trying to come up with a way to make decals for the Alaska Mat-Su volunteer FD.
I bought the decals from inquarters.com. The light bar was from first response replicas. With the length of the box and cab I had to use 3 decal sheets to make the stripe without and splices. The lights were from Evan design as advertised in the forum. I used fast flash chips in the box. 1.8 mm in the light bar and grill and nano chip in the bumper corners. Ricka, I have done other projects where I had custom decals made from elstrainsdecals.com. It costs more but per sheet but less that buying the printers to make them especially for a one time run.
