Wife and I were shopping at Menards for some items and decided to wander over to where the Christmas displays were to be.
Imagine "brawl in aisle 9" with grown people fighting over toy trains....Just kidding
Actually we got there just as they were setting up a nice selection of Menards train cars so we had first dibs on what to get!!
Got a Susquehanna car, "Susie Q" which is my wife's older sister nick name, B&O and Reading box cars for my brother in law who worked for both line in his career, and a Pennsy covered load flat car for my home state, Pennsylvania.
They also had most of the Woodland Scenic buildings out so we could see them operating especially the ones with the Miller signs.
Other than denting the credit card, a good time was had by all.
