Whenever I had a problem with a Menards train product, they just send a replacement. I didn't need to return the defective car.
You must send an email, there is no one you can talk too.

Well it took two days before they responded two e-mails and their gohumane link. I was getting very annoyed especially with what they sent me. Now I am still waiting for a return label which they said they would get this week. We shall see, if they don’t produce I will post more on this subject. If they come through I will also note, but so far very frustrating.

Sometimes they just send it, sometimes they want broken back.
Customer Service is a very large part of any business. It should be a simple process where the customer is satisfied completely.

What Email address did you use to send your 2 requests?
Doug
Menards.com...on their website. Sent photos also. Very slow response led me to get in touch with their general manager. You wouldn’t believe what they sent me, damaged and ton of dust on roof of building. Tried to tell me seasonal items. Then why was it for sale on their website, paid for new and expected new.
Send an email to menards customer service ATTN: Ray!!! clearly explain your disappointment and he will get back to you. Make sure you attn: RAY!
good luck
jsulli, I can see where your coming from I wouldn't be happy either. That's the email address Mark from Menards posts on here for all train related problems and I have used it once. Sent an email in the morning and they replied within a couple hours and took care of my issue.
Hope it works out for you,Doug
Another key point to keep in mind is that customer service doesn’t respond to emails on the weekends. They’re always quick to respond during typical corporate business hours (M- F) so I always factor that into my expectations to receive a reply email.

Christopher,
FWIW last week, I had a new building to return for exchange as the flashing LEDs were out. On Thursday, I used the Help Center tab on their website, clicked return/exchange and filled in the online request form. I received a guest@menards-inc<dot>com email reply from Ray on Friday and he set up the return label with FedEx. FedEx had not sent a label as of noon today (Monday). I contacted Ray again and he contacted FedEx. The FedEx email arrived about 30 mins later. Printed it out and took it to FedEx. All in all, three days excluding the weekend to request an exchange, get a reply and to receive a return shipping label at Menard's cost. I think that is pretty good and I compliment Menard's customer service. Hope this helps.

Understandable Chris, but I started the e-mails on Thursday last week. How many more days to get a return label. Very slow customer service I.M.h.O.
I received a damaged flat car with a truck on it one time. Not only did they promptly send me a replacement car, but they let me keep the damaged car and sent me a free box car for my trouble. You can't beat that for customer service as far as I 'm concerned!
Thanks for the responses everyone. I contacted Ray & he is sending me a Fed Ex label to ship the damaged car back to them.
A thank you to the forum members who gave information on who and how to contact at menards. After waiting a week for a return label got in touch by e-mail to ray, received return label next day with an apology for the delay. Then received a replacement factory (New as ordered) two days ago. Will order again from them and hopefully receive in good condition.
