Just wondering if anyone has an opinion on it's usage, I saw them for the first time today and consider them a decent value. The Fastrak transition from Lionel is great, but only 5 inches, and more expensive. My only concern is has anyone used one of the Menards? At ten inches, the Menards piece is cheaper and 5 inches longer, But is the quality there? Everything run well at speed?

I have them and plan to buy two more tomorrow. I haven’t run high speed yet, but they seem to fit correctly.

Looks good! My original concern is that the crimps just look funny, some a little offset of center. So at a crawl probably no issue. At a higher rate of speed, the consist looks like it would bounce or shake a bit. Thanks for posting.
I don't notice any jumps or shakes. What I am beginning to notice is the tubular track is much quieter and runs smoother than Fastrack, even comparing really old tubular track.

I have 4 on my layout and speed is not an issue . I like them
I will use a bunch of these then! I like the tubular track but have a bunch invested in Fastrak switches and things. My concern was that of the middle rail crimp sometimes has a slight curve to the right on almost all of them. My thought was it would cause some "shake" But then I have no wheels that run on the middle rail! DUH! I feel good and stupid now!
And I totally agree, I like the roll on tubular and the noise level as well. Hopefully Menards will make a Insulated section at a great price. Need a bunch! Hate making them.
