I know that Menard's has a flat car with a load of cement blocks on it this year. Did they have any other freight cars this year?

Thanks, Lionel2024. I was hoping they had more useful loads.
Just a note that you can't hook two of these Menards cars together and run them on 0-27 track. The couplers are too tight and will cause one or both cars to derail on every corner! Don't have any 0-31 track to try, but I think it would take at least 0-36 track to accommodate these in tandem.
Hi Mustang,
What do you think that is caused by? Are they O27 scale or 1/48 scale?
Yep, the couplers are very tight on some of the flatcars that were not manufactured by Lionel. I have about a dozen or so of the Menards flats that have been manufactured through last year, They work OK on 042 curves with no problems.
They are what is now considered traditional size or 027 size.
They arrived yesterday. Got the 3 that were on sale. They look great, particularly the one with the die cast Mack truck with load. I was going to order more, but the sale is over. The ones with the lumber load and truss load are gone.
Did we ever find out who makes them for Menard's?
Bill
Menards currently has their flatcar with loads for $8.00 each on their on-line site. Heck of a deal just for the loads that they are carrying.

Here's a selection of those cars. They may not all be available where you live or online:
There are others with tractor-trailer loads. See Menards online.

The $8.00 sale is over.
