I modified Herman's into a distillery. I changed the sign and added decal artwork to the building and barrels. I moved the LED light strip that was on the back side of the building to light up the new sign. I put scale yellow corn in the vats. I also made custom cars to complete the scene.

WOW!!!! Great

Very cool!
I like the farm truck filled with what I assume is corn. I've been told corn can be used for other things, but that could be a myth.
Very cool, love the matching rolling stock.
Nothing against it whatsoever, but I don't consume alcoholic beverages. HOWEVER, I would certainly like to try some of that Naughty Nurse.
You did an excellent job with the building, the barrels, containers, and rolling stock.
Thank you for sharing.

Did you print your own decals?
Yes, I printed the decals. I got the artwork from the "Naughty Nurse Whiskey" Facebook page. The brand apparently never was actually put into production, but the Facebook page remains. The girl in the artwork is singer/actress/model Renee Olstead.
I like that vat car! Got an extra?
Naughty Nurse Whiskey? I think I'll just stroll on over to the Emergency Room and "Get Me Some". Your distillery is Off The Charts! Very Clever! Way to Go!!!

Great job converting the Sauerkraut factory over. Between the distillery and the cars you have yourself one heck of a focal point on your layout. Well done. And if you ever get tired of it I can find a spot on my layout for it..................Paul
Thanks to everyone for your kind words. A BIG THANK YOU has to go to Menards for offering such a diverse line of structures and rolling stock.
What decal process did you use? What computer software did you use? I have numerous sign projects but am a complete novice at sign/logo making. Your work looks so professional. thanks Chris

I use inkjet white paper for most decals. This paper is readily available from many sources such as eBay, Amazon and decalpaper.com. The Testors paper that can be found in many hobby shops and Hobby Lobby is the same paper in half sheets. After printing I clear it with Krylon acrylic gloss and let it dry for a few days before applying it to the model. For flat signs you can use regular photo or presentation and brouchure paper.
I don't have any special programs to make the artwork. I use the Microsoft photo gallery editing program that came with my PC to crop the images, and then use Microsoft Office Word to resize the images and create any text if needed.
Love it! I propose a toast......"To all Naughty Nurses......Bottoms Up!!"
First rate conversion. Love to see what you would do with other buildings.
