I thought I was finished buying rolling stock but as long as Menards keeps making these Army flats I'll keep buying.  Nice job Menards. 

Just ordered these. I'll post more pictures when they come in. I really like the look of the wooden deck on these !!!

What era are these?  I can't read any built date on the cars.  What vintage are the vehicles?

Dave PCRR, I just checked their web site.  They have both listed for $24 each or close to it.  Get 9 free trees per car when you order.

They're very much post-WW2.

And civilian.

This isn't any military truck or trailer. It's a civilian truck/trailer that they painted in the post-Vietnam-era camo pattern (but pre-NATO 3-color camo pattern).

That is an R model Mack cab.

The time frame would probably be late 1960s to late 1980s.

Ordered all four.Can't wait to get them !!

  Thanks much an e-mail just showed up in my private mail, I will order them shortly.  My layouts are not realism based, these flat Cars with military loads look great to me, especially for the price.
