This boxcar will fit right in with the other six that was produced a while back. Notice the catwalk is now painted black which really adds to the final look. The graphics are very sharp also.. Another home run for Menards !! The box van has had the graphic changed from Systems to System.. Bob

The boxcar looks great, Bob. The black roof walk really stands out.
Looks good.....a nice tribute to the 'Greatest Generation' ever!!
Bob, thanks for the pictures that you always post of the Menards offerings and the mini reviews! The black detail on the roof of the boxcar looks like it could easily be added to the previous six! Thanks again! Gotta order the boxcar to go with the others and maybe the box truck! I kind of wish the cab was CNW green, but that's just me! LOL

I agree ! I'm going to repaint the cab. It's a simple process.
Another great winning addition to Menard's WWII commemorative series of offerings. I'm sure the success of these offerings has inspired Lionel to move in this direction as well -- albeit at an entirely different price-point.

Love the box cars but who made the B-17?
I need to get that "Memphis Belle" boxcar. I had a plastic model of that B-17 back in the 50's. It was so cool!
That boxcar art is impressive.

I guess gone are the prototypical USRA composites with the white"X" across the doors. So much for stealth.
