I love a good mystery.  gotta get one . . . 

I ordered one, the mystery box a few months ago sold out quickly.

I wonder if a mystery box would work on the "for sale" forum.  Probably would be against the rules though.  Interesting prospect.

I picked up my Menards Mystery Box today. Not a bad deal - Menards hat, 1/87 Mod car, 5 freight cars, and the Camaraderie Bar. The building looks like it may have used for a Christmas display has a few blemishes, broken railing and roof material missing and a light fixture for one of the LEDs. The boxcar is Lionel starter set issue not bad. Definitely like the Army flats. Thanks Menards!

I got mine today too . Engine shed, 4 cars 2 flat cars 2 box cars one being the army one . a hat and a yellow thunder bird

 

Frank, nice lot.  I'd leave the bar's stairway railing broke like that...it adds character.

Agree, broken stairway creates a back story. Maybe Clint Eastwood and his monkey Clyde broke it in a bar fight! Sorry, couldn't think of the movie title. Either way, both mystery boxes look like they were worth the risk! Congrats!

It could also add to a law suit if the tenant living upstairs falls to the pavement below.

I'd pass, I've only won 1 game of chance ever in life that I remember, I was 13 at a carnival spinning wheel. So gave up "gambling" in most ways long long ago

My mystery box came in today.. WOW. I received and engine house. elevated trestle set, army box car, WI box car, two flat cars, die cast car, and a nice camo cap..!!!!

I sure hope Menards watches these posts! 

I'll take the Menards flat off your hands if you want to sell it.  I'm currently hooked on weathering flats for my WWII consist. 

 

 

It's a gamble these days even when buying new!

that is good because I ordered a case of flat cars and what I received today was a mystery box with items I can not use.

Ordered mine today.  The one I ordered last year was great.  I hope that I get the engine shed.
