His Dad was a section worker on the Santa Fe around Bakersfield. I recall an article about him in Time in the mid-70's and he had an O Scale Santa Fe set-up in his home. Max Gray/MTH Santa Fe steam...... He went to prison about 1957; when he got out, steam had vanished, much to his sorrow.
