Many thanks to the team at OGR for all their efforts to keep this forum humming as well as the O Gauge Railroading magazine which continues to provide great articles and pictures.

I was two months shy of 5 years old when I received a Lionel train for Christmas in 1959. It was much later in life that I realized how much the set cost and the sacrifice that my mom and dad made to buy it.   It was truly the gift that keeps on giving!

Merry Christmas and best wishes for a great 2023 to everyone on the Forum!

Have a very Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays to all, and to all a wonderful and bright New Year.

Yes, a somewhat hairy me in front of the Christmas Tree. Believe me, it took far too many tries to get the right shot because I kept blocking the tree. I don't like using the flip image because your backwards. I think I did a good job even with my mug.
