Welcome to Midweek photos... August edition
Yesterday was National Night Out, as I understand it... a chance for communities to fight crime by getting outside in their streets and have family friendly activities.
In Moscow, PA, my railroad historical society opened the train station to let people know they can explore the 109 year old buildings.
This bridge over Market St was constructed by the Delaware Lackawanna & Western RR in 1910 to keep the trains moving through the little town.
Coffee and snacks were available if anyone wanted to stop by. With music, pony rides and other activities taking place a few blocks away, not many indulged.
A freight train passing through was on its way to Scranton from Portland, PA. My camera was fighting me, so this was the only photo I could get.
As a fundraiser, it was not a success, but it was nice to see and experience the station area at night.
How have your photo journeys been lately? Is your camera bursting with photos that need to be shared with us? If so, please do. Enjoy the rest of your work week.
