Hey gang!  Welcome once again to Midweek Photos.  I would like to thank each of you for any contributions you have made to the forum this year.  I love seeing how diverse transportation still is in this world of ours.  Now on to the pictures

An old banner from 1988 found new life this year on the Office & Storage building.  We are trying to include all of the yard into RailFest.

Walking tours of some of the facilities are offered.  Train tours as well.

Just as on the day before, the Jersey Central 1554 leads the Scranton Limited.  The Caboose Experience boards right next to it.

Nickel Plate Road 514 idles next to Long Island snowplow before backing out to the boarding platform for the Moscow excursion.

I will post more in a few minutes.  Scan through your files so you can share in the fun of Midweek Photos.  Add you pics here.

While in Moscow, the group gingerly crosses the tracks to get in position for the photo runby.

All ages participated in the train trip and the Fest.

Here comes the train!

Backing down so everyone could re-board.

And here is the rain that pushed the final people back on the train.  The rain affected my camera for the rest of the day, so no photos of the later portions of RailFest.  Funny that it was hot and steamy back in Scranton.  No rain to be found there.  Have a good week everyone!

Sorry for the delay, but here are some photos of our trip to Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, VA a couple weeks ago.  During the 3 1/2 days we spent there, only the German and UK style trains were running, with the American one on the track by the maintenance/shed/Caribou Station area.

Here are a couple posters on the walls facing the tracks at Tweedside Station in Scotland:

Here are some shots of the UK styled train, with a locomotive named "Balmoral Castle" and coaches for the Aberdeen Railway.  The first shot looked so Victorian to me, with the train under steam in the shed, getting ready to depart.  I liked the detail on this train, with the "Coronation" type flag display on the front and the nameplate.  She's done as if she were for the Caledonian Railway.  A couple of these photos look like they could be made to look like painted artwork and go on the cover of a period "Hornby Book of Trains"!

And here are a couple of the German styled train.  When I would see this one on the move, I wasn't in an area that could lend itself to a really good shot of the train.  However, there are lots of amazing spots to get photos of the trains here, as opposed to a lot of parks that have steam trains!
