It is not that difficult to make a custom sign for the entrance sign.Just type out the text you want so it fits inside the sign dimensions, print out a copy and have a transparency copy made. The transparency copy can be made at most local copy centers, like Fed-Ex,Kinkos.Cut out the transparency graphics to fit the sign and use twin-tack(clear double sided adhesive sheets)from a local art supply store to attach the transparency with the custom text to the sign.I have done this technique many times for custom graphics with Miller products.I am always happy with the results.

When my wife 'confronted' () Chris at the April York meet for having left her name...Deb...off of their preprinted options, he informed us (her) that the kit includes instructions on how to use a common computer program to create a more personal sign.

Since we haven't pinpointed a place for this sign on the layout, yet, we haven't made the purchase and can't verify Chris' claim.  Nonetheless, he's as responsive and supportive as a manufacturer could be, and I have no doubt it's an easy, doable option.

Thanks for the info, guys

My little project is ...... I own the Lionel Crabby Matt's diner. I want to replace the "Crabby Matt's" sign on the top of the building with my own personalized lighted sign.

I was thinking of installing the Miller Engineering Universal Entrance Sign, customized with my own text. Dan986's example looks great.

Or, maybe the Miller Experimenter Kits .... http://www.microstru.com/Experimenter-Kits.html . Their website states they can be used to create "signs."
