It works perfectly with a 24" Millhouse turntable.  The Atlas roundhouse was designed to accomodate an Atlas 24" turntable.  The Atlas roundhouse is 37"X 37", so you need about 4' X 5' of real estate to fit it in.  If you have a larger turntable, it will work, but your lead in tracks to the roundhouse will have to be curved & will be longer, and of course, you need to add the extra for a larger turntable

Since you didn't indicate the size of your turntable, the size of the roundhouse is sort of dependent on how large the turntable is, i.e. the overall space requirement increases dramatically with larger turntables.

Personally I prefer the Korber Models round house. Until something better comes on the market, like Brennens or Ross, the Korber is the nicest LARGE building to accompany a 32" or larger turntable, in my opinion.

You may want to look at our Korber Models 304 Roundhouse.  We are producing this now, including updated and new laser cut windows and doors.  These are made here in the USA.

Here is a link to a PDF download to plan the space with a Millhouse turntable, Al and I worked together on this.

A Korber (304) matches well with a 30" TT.

This Diamond Scale 28" TT shows what happens for smaller TTs combined with the Korber 304.  The straight rails push to the outside of the house. Note the left rail off center in the window panel. It should line with the large space between the one and two windows.   A smaller TT shifts the rails even more.
The Atlas RH is designed for a 24" TT.    Still very workable with only (4) stalls. and maybe even (6) stalls.   Past (6) you would have to curve the rails.

I have a 5 stall in O scale 1:43 from Scale University.  I purchase it for my Atlas 6910 turntable. After fooling with a 2 stall and seeing how much room would be needed, I never even broke the seal on the inside package. I don't even remember what it cost. If your looking for one like that , e-mail me and we will figure out a good price. It will be a long project putting together in my opinion.

Others have mentioned the Korber roundhouse.  I had one on a module that received accolades from Ernie Korber (he started the company).  Now you can buy a complete roundhouse with scale details from Crescent Locomotive Works (Www.locomotiveworksinc.com).  He has been so busy filling orders the photos haven't made it to his website.  Check it out!

Other postings mention matching the turntable size to the roundhouse.  Crescent's roundhouse is standard for 9 degrees between tracks.  And they will custom build one to your size.  Happy railroading!
