We were in Emerald Isle NC last week. The local mini golf had a 'train' that you rode to the top of the mountain and play your way down. The 'train' was a monorail set up with rubber tires. A cool set up that I had never seen anything like it. It worked well and would seem cheap to build and run......anyone see one like this???

I have never seen that before... but sold. I feel like some mini golf.
This mini golf place in New Tripoli, Pa. has a train that runs around the property.
There is a mini golf course on the main drag in Pigeon Forge Tennessee that has a very similar setup. Professor Hacker's, if I remember correctly.

Sister location from what I understand.....
I've ridden that "train" many times. I would hardly call it a "monorail."

Runs on a single rail??? It does not fit any one category....rubber tires, concrete roadway. 'Diesel powered connected cars running on and guided by a single rail' is not as easy as monorail!!!

That's the thing--it doesn't run "on" a rail.
Same thing/different body, just like the cars at Disney World/Land and other amusement parks.

There is another one in Gatlinburg, Hillbilly Golf. It is awesome! It is an incline railway!

As an aside, the hole pictured in the first post is a pretty awesome "trick" hole.
